When I found out I’d have to be stuck at work for half the day on May 20th, the day of the annual Mighty Kindness Earth Day Hootenanny at Waterfront Park, I was kind of disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, it is good to have a steady day job to pay the bills, but without the whole day off on that Saturday, I won’t be able to get there early enough to set up a booth to sell books from like I did in previous years.

Well, several days ago, I mentioned this to the owner of the Stix-N-Stonz shop in conversation, and she invited me to share some space at her booth when I am able to arrive! Talk about Mighty Kind! 🙂 It turns out I will be able to have my poetry books available at the Hootenanny after all.
